A Strong Background and Deep Local Roots
Craig Wilkerson was born and raised in Rock Hill. He attended the University of South Carolina School of Law, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps at Parris Island, South Carolina and the Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina. Mr. Wilkerson returned to Rock Hill, South Carolina following in the footsteps of his father, well-known defense attorney Forrest Wilkerson, who has practiced in York County for over 43 years.
After serving with the Marine Corps, Mr. Wilkerson began practicing in 1993 in Walterboro, South Carolina. He made a reputation for himself by trying cases for other attorneys who did not want to go to court. In 2001, he came back to Rock Hill and established a litigation practice emphasizing personal injury representation. Clients have direct access to a proven trial lawyer with a long record of notable verdicts and settlements, and several reported cases before the South Carolina Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.
